The National Organization of Rare Disorders www.rarediseases.org is a general resources for families serching for support and information about a rare disease or syndrome. All of the syndromes listed on this website vary in their presentation from mild to severe. Fragile X syndrome is the most common inherited form of mental impairment and autism.
