Consultation FeesYoung Adult ConsultationThese visits are for individuals between 18 and 21 years of age. The Initial Visit will be either 60 ($275) or 90 ($375) minutes depending upon the complexity of the concerns and prior evaluations. Routine visits are based on individual needs, typically every 3-4 months for medication refills. Preliminary Consultation60 minutes ($275) Some families have many questions and concerns when scheduling an evaluation. The website is designed to provide this information. However, for families who feel they need to meet Dr. Aronson-Ramos, the preliminary consultation affords them the opportunity to discuss their concerns, before scheduling a full evaluation. This visit is for the parents only. Initial Consultations90 minutes ($375)/60 minutes ($275): This visit is for the parents of children from birth to 18 years. This visit, which is for the parents only, includes a comprehensive and detailed history of the current problem and extensive review of past medical, surgical, and birth history, nutrition, sleep habits, development, school, social interaction, family history and dynamics, activities and interests, traumatic events, prior treatments and more. This will also include a review of all medical records, laboratory tests, imaging studies, prior evaluations and testing, school reports, work samples and interviews when indicated of designated teachers, therapists or specialists. This visit may be sixty or ninety minutes depending on the complexity of the problems and the amount of prior information to be reviewed. Treatment Consultation90 minutes ($375): This visit is for the parents and the child together if comprehensive testing and evaluations have recently been completed. The focus of this visit is to establish a treatment plan appropriate for the individual child and family. It is important that the parents provide copies of prior records and reports. The treatment plan may include a wide variety of interventions such as: medication, nutritional interventions and supplements, referral to therapists, computer based training programs, parenting education, social skills groups, and other options. This visit is also appropriate if you are seeking a second opinion or changing physicians for medication management. This visit is also appropriate for infants and toddlers four years of age or younger even if they have not had any prior evaluations. However frequently in these cases a Feedback Visit will also be required to discuss the results of the evaluation and treatment planning. Child Evaluation Visit60 minutes ($270): Evaluation of the child or teen, with or without the parent depending upon the age. This visit consists of screening/testing measures, complete examination, interview, play based evaluations and other assessments depending upon the individual needs of the patient. Feedback Visits60 minutes ($270)/30 minutes ($135): This visit is typically for the parents only but may include the child in specific cases. During this visit we will review the findings from the evaluation, discuss the diagnosis, develop a treatment plan, and discuss possible interventions - medication, therapies, school programs, enrichment activities, etc. Follow-up Routine (30 min) or Extended (60 min)30/60 minutes ($135/$270): Follow up visits will last 30 or 60 minutes, classified as routine or extended depending upon the needs of the individual and family. Medication monitoring must be a minimum of every three to four months. Maintaining a consistent follow up schedule will optimize treatment and insure timely medication refills. When medication is not prescribed, follow-up visits are still necessary to assess and monitor treatment plans and progress.
